Overview
STECCI Summer Academy 2 officially concluded with a programme of lectures, presentations, an art exhibition, an award ceremony and the distribution of certificates to participants.
Prof. Dr. Nusret Drešković welcomed the attendees and opened the final programme of the Academy. Prof. Dr. Gabriela Krist and Lejla Hadžić presented conservation and recovery approaches used to protect cultural heritage following the earthquakes in Albania. Dr. Marija Milchin and Dr. Katharina Fuchs presented the conservation work carried out at Kopošići and Križevići, showing the condition of the monuments before and after treatment.
Prof. Dr. Saida Ibragić introduced Understanding Stone Heritage: A Conservation Science Perspective, highlighting the role of conservation science in protecting stone heritage. Stone conservation consultant Simon Warrack concluded the lecture programme by sharing insights from his extensive international experience in stone conservation. The afternoon programme continued with an exhibition of artworks, presented by Prof. Dr. Ćazim Hadžimejlić.
